NEX 6 + 16-50mm lens + 55-210mm lens for $998 at Amazon.

Assumed by many to be a mistake and that it was just the standard one lens kit. People have reported calling in/chatting with Amazon reps who have confirmed that it's a 2 lens kit for $998. Which is still suspect since the NEX 6 with just the 55-210mm lens is $1246. I would take screenshots and save the chat log with a rep confirming it is 2 lenses to be safe.

Idk seems like its a mistake, it doesn't show it in product description and if you click on 210 bundle the price goes up.

Althought it likely is a mistake I verified in chat with Amazon that the price is correct and ordered it after saving the chat session and screen image.

We'll see...

I have been waiting for a great deal for ever and now it came, I talked to amazon chat as well and they confirmed the order and that it comes with both lens they said and they confirmed my order. I can’t believe i am finally getting this camera.

Same here. Just finished chatting with Amazon customer service, and they reiterated that the $998 bundle now comes with both the 16-50 and 55-210 lenses. I saved the chat and screenshots of the page, and placed the order.

The bundle still shows only the 16-50 when you add it to your cart. I'll find out on Thursday when I receive it.

At a minimum, it's an easy return if it doesn't come with both lenses.

I did the same thing, I had the rep verify that two lenses were included and the price is $998.00 during chat.  He confirmed it so I ordered it and saved everything.

I have a feeling several of us will be having conversations with them when packages start arriving.

LOL, I have Sony card and get points, but didn't not have enough points to get the 5N until a few months ago they announced 5R and 6, so been waiting to get a NEX for a year

I've been lurking for awhile, but only recently dived into the NEX system with the 5N, and now the 6 (and hopefully in a few days the 6 plus 16-50 + 55-210).

Another first time poster . . .

Ordered from BH Photo a week ago. Just checked return policy and I am over the 200 clicks specified required to return.  Do folks think it would be possible to return the item received from Amazon to BH Photo and pay out right for the bundled Lightroom?  I just bought the 55-210 from Newegg 2 days ago for $279 but have not recieved.  This deal would save me $179 overall, almost enough for a Sigma 19mm 2.8.  Thoughts?

Love this camera by the way.  Coming from an A100 and this is a huge jump in capability.  An old Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50/1.4 has suddenly become my favorite lens.  Picked up the LA-EA2 as well but thinking of returning it and selling my Zeiss 16-80mm in favor of a 19/2.8, 35/1.8, 50/1.8, 16-50 PZ, 55-210 kit.

Sure.  You just need to grind off the serial numbers, smooth things out a bit (bondo?) then engrave the opposite serial numbers into the cameras.  Piece of cake.  Please, post pictures of the process when you're finished.

Seriously - "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to device." That can't end well.  BUT - you could always call B&H and see if they'll price match (but then again, they have good reason to say the Amazon page is an error) OR, just ask them if you can return a different camera to them. You have nothing to lose.

We've all been there - buy something we can't return and see the price drop a week later.  You can rationalize by knowing that all of us who ordered this will end up with the one-lens kit.

I bought this kit a month ago here in Norway for 8000 Kroner, kept the 55210mm and sold the 1650mm lego lens right afterwards. I saved a lot of money this way!

It's a mistake. Run your cursor over the options and look at the accompanying images. The image of the two lens kit corresponds to the highest price listed for the camera with the kit lens.

If this were the UK Amazon would be legally obliged to honour the price but I don't believe this is true in the US, especially given that the item named in the cart is the camera with kit lens only.
