Lenses you wish Fuji would make

Stole this from another forum, but it's a good question
I wish they were making a pancake in a wider angle, like 28 or 35 equivalent. Would love to be able to almost pocket it.
Yours?

A 1:1 macro would be nice.

Is aperture size on pancakes limited? ie could they make an f2 or f1.4 pancake?

I'd be happy if they could just get on with their roadmap.

The 10-24 mm is the one I'm looking forward to. Looks like it will be delayed due to the popularity of the 18-55 mm.

I think that it's generally easier to fit a slower aperture in a tighter space. A 1.4 pancake would be pretty amazing though

With limited space available, the possibility of a really wide aperture pancake lens is difficult to achieve.
The X series appears to have a narrow mount throat that probably cannot accomodate very large apertures unless the whole of the working 'gubbins' were outside the body - i.e. anti-pancake. Since pancakes aim to reduce the external size of overall lens, the aperture has to be relatively limited to accomodate any focusing/aperture mechanisms.
Can't think of a pancake lens with overly large aperture (compared to format size) in recent years.

12 or 14mm 1.8
75mm 1.4 (or 1.8)
55mm 1.2 (is 1.2 possible for the x-mount?) Well, I guess the upcoming 56mm 1.4 will do.
150mm 2.8

First, i would love to buy full frame camera styled in similar way like my silver X-E1. Second, I would prefer 45mm and 85mm (focal length in FF terms), all of these with really large apertures and lighting fast autofocus. Wide angle zoom (preferably f/2.8) would be nice too.

I believe an 84 is coming in 2013, they are saying 1.4 so let's hope.

Agreed, there are two on the roadmap I want and that would suite me for a very long time, that and the kit zoom for when I just want to take one lens.

Here is that roadmap again and the 84mm will be 1.4 (hope that subject to change is just protection and we will not see it).

After Fuji brings what´s on the current roadmap I´d love to see a 90/2 (135mm eq. FF) and that will be it for me, unless there´s also a TS 24/3.5 (eq. FF) in our dreams and their consideration.

Lenses I want:
Luckily, only one lens I want is not on the roadmap. Now I just have to be patient.
