You have captured well the level of "spacey tinkles" essential for a frothy, fastly filling thread ...
But ... http://home.comcast.net/~NikonD70/Charts/PDR.htm#OM-D%20E-M5,Ideal_4/3,D800

Bill Claff did not yet upload GH3 data, so you have to live w/ my image for now and then comparing GH3/EM5 and other cameras on his site does not take into account "measured" (per DxOMark) ISOs... his site contains "nominal" (per manufacturer) ISOs, unfortunately

D800? Crown? That of course belonged and still belongs to my own personal E-M5. 9.27 at ISO 200. and 8.78 at 400, just to take a few pertinent examples. See here for the full story (select OM-D E-M5 in the menu to the right):
http://home.comcast.net/~NikonD70/Charts/PDR.htm#OM-D%20E-M5,Ideal_4/3
The D800 trails those values of course, if, as we should according to the principles of equivalence, we compare at the same DoF rather than the same ISO.
But your new GH3 curve looks slightly better than the prior version you showed us:
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/post/50410553
What accounts for the difference?

please correct me if I am wrong but
Im presuming DoF is made equivalent on these ISO expectations?

My definition of Photographic Dynamic Range is a low endpoint with an SNR of 20 when adjusted for the appropriate Circle Of Confusion (COC) for the sensor.
So, knowing what you know about equivalence, what, then, is your answer to your own question ?

since you begin with 'My definition' we can pretty well halt right there
Im familiar with Claff's previous works, and I am aware that this data isnt his but follows his outline
the question is framed on the data set as it appears in the chart the Op presented,
and as Anders alluded earlier
So, knowing what you know about equivalence, what, then, is your answer to your own question ?
well I know what I think, now I know what you think, but what I want to know is are equivalent principles taken into account on these ISO expectations that appear in the chart ?

Correction: Bill Claff begins with "my definition" (if you read the text of his web-page linked to).
Im familiar with Claff's previous works, and I am aware that this data isnt his but follows his outline

What do you think ?
... now I know what you think, ...
How would you know that ?
but what I want to know is are equivalent principles taken into account on these ISO expectations that appear in the chart ?
whateverittakes
What do you mean exactly by your use of the phrase "equivalent principles" ? Please explain clearly.
