I just found this little gem... (img)

I had forgot to share it with you guys.
Super wide angle shot from a recent wedding I was DJ at. I love the dramatic sky. (Shame the darn paid photographer kept getting in my way!)
Thoughts?

Please stop posting. It is so easy to see that the second photographer is on the side lines. The primary is up front.
That makes you the benchwarmer or Uncle Joe.Enough said

I'll bite.
Interesting angle and point of view but the couple is about 2% of the image. The inclusion of the other photographer makes the image of little value to the couple.
Where'd the thumbs down button go?

It's the same garbage he posted before, but now he has the backup of Linda whom I'm sure he's taking all sorts of liberties with. Have fun Neil. Don't forget the .....

Not at all garbage. How can anyone make such a remark. It's a great composition. Very dramatic. Unfortunately the photographer on the right spoils the shot.

Neil, you made the mistake of creating an imaginary friend to support you with an actual name in the probably the easiest profession for us to figure out her non existence. Every realtor has a long trail of personal data, social networking, usually from multiple offices and has worked extensively over many years to gain as many contacts as possible to hopefully gain a listing or a sale.
Linda simply does not exist and it's pretty comical how you implement "her" in your own posts. Think more carefully next time...

It's easy. Watch. "Garbage, garbage, garbage."
If you want to quibble about the use of the term garbage then you had better take issue with Linda "Neil" Tavares' calling this shot stunning. It is no way stunning. Unless the meaning is that it is stunning that Neil still posts this garbage day after day and calls them gems and masterpieces.

Am I understanding correctly that you were paid to be a DJ at a wedding but you decided to bring your expensive DSLR to take photos even though they had a paid photographer? Are you giving these photos for free to the couple? And they do not find this somewhat inappropriate? I imagine their photographer was not very happy about it, especially if you were getting in her way but more importantly if you are giving away free digital copies to the couple and cutting her out of some print sales.
As for the photo I guess it would have been okay except having their photographer in the picture but I would hardly call it a "gem". I agree with the previous poster that it would have probably been better if there was no wedding in the way.

i sell the images I get at wedding to the bride and groom and their family. It's a nice little side income. I've heard on several occasions that my images were better than their paid photographers. So it looks like I'm actually doing a good service here. Kind of a " back up" photographer of sorts.

lexx,
What would you think if your wife or daughter went on one of the most heavily trafficed forums in the world using their real names and hometowns? Women especially have to be extremely careful to be anonymous on the internet.
And, yes, I am not real, I'm just Neil doing his old "shapeshifting" routine again. And he has 2 other secret identities here as well. And we're all sitting behind the grassy knoll. Conspiracy nut, maybe?
Have a nice day.
Neil

Crop off the bottom containg bricks and path (just to below the feet of the secondary photog)which is of no value to the scene and you'll have a more pleasing composition considering the B&G are so tiny.
