Few examples from X-E1 + 35/1.4

The dog only has a few more months to live. That's why the couple asked for some photos.
I also shot with my 5II (with 35 and 85mm zeiss lenses), but I'm also happy with the results I get from the Fuji. Still happy with the camera. The IQ is great for such a tiny package.
I'm thinking about buying the grip, because it even feels too small when I hold it to my eye sometimes.
Here are a few examples:

Wonderful images! I have no special relation to dogs, but these images are moving.

Beautiful shots, they'll cherish those. What's wrong with the big guy?

Excellent pics, good job
Actually, must be quite emotional for the couple given the context you describe. Quite moving for dog lovers like me.

Thanks Murad.
The Fuji OOC jpegs are the best I've ever seen from any camera, but usually I edit the RAW files because those are the most flexible.
I mostly do my PP with curves on different layers in photoshop.

Incredible photos, and as with all good photos the story behind them takes them to a whole new level. Wish more photographers took the time to write even a little about their work.
