So true about the size and bulk of a DSLR system. Still each system has its place. This is why I am a dual camera system user.

That looks painful. But maybe his camera can deliver sharp images in C-AF mode following something moving fast? Or he is not allowed to participate with smaller equipment? Who knows?

And I bet the pro DSLR shooter can't imagine going through life with the current limitations of an MFT system.....

For those who have never photographed with something better, they think the current MFT system is godsend.
If it's really that good, every pro who needs a durable and reliable system out there would have switched already.

it's funny how you don't get these kind of threads on the Dslr forums making fun of m4/3rds users.............then again maybe they aren't the ones with the size issues

Not true. As has been pointed out, there is the C-AF advantage when you get all the gear set up and in place and the latest / best FF DSLR will always have a slight advantage in the specs even if it is impossible to see the difference in real life. But there are pros out there working with gear that is likely not as good as the current crop of m43 for the simple reason that it is hard for many to change their behavior. And many clients / large firms still want to see big rigs.

I'm a pro shooter and I sold my DSLR system earlier this year to shoot with a hybrid camera. One you realize the limitations of a DSLR you'll never go back.

Pros are the last people to switch homie. We have the most to loose (our lively hood) if we make a mistake. Shooting a m43 hybrid system has been a major move for me and one that I took very seriously and thought about it for months...but that ended back in February when I sold off my 5DMKII Canon system.
Yes, hybrid cameras such as the OM-D, Lumix G5 and of course the GH3 are "that" good. Problem is many pros don't know it yet and there are lots of stuffy "mens club" photographers that hold on the idea that bigger is better.
I've shoot professionally with medium format film/digital and smaller and I'll say this -
I'm a better photographer because of hybrid cameras.
Bigger is better...is over.

Obviously you've got c**k on the brain. Nice.
No, those are lenses. They take pictures. when on a pro Canon body, they'll give you subject isolation that no current MFT option can come close to, and the whole caboodle will manage to track moving subjects far more reliably, and the end images will be cleaner with more DR as well. The pro will be competitive with his/her peers and not at an IQ disadvantage which they would otherwise. The weight will indeed be more and often a real PITA (lets hope you haven't still got c**k on the brain, else goodness knows what's going through your mind now), but that what you've got to currently put up with if you want to work in that area. Once MFT catches up in ability and IQ, you'll see pro's switching in droves. Contrary to popular belief, they're mostly not stupid. Simples.
