I like how you made the skin tone and lighting match the background.

I might have rotated a notch counter clockwise, but then I once wrote an instruction piece titled "Rafter Layout with a Square" and my kids thought that was totally appropriate.

Subject extracted, placed on new BG, merged, converted to B&W, coloured via gradient, blended down to the full colour version below via a mask and added a pattern layer over-top in soft light mode.

The really odd thing is . . . this girl thinks she is not attractive.

Definitely needed a change in the background.   Not happy with this result though since it needs more tlc (spent way too much time on the extraction phase which is still my Achille's Heel), but tired I am (and going to hit the sack soon).   Thanks for the play GPapa.

I think you got the lighting correct. I can't do extractions so I can't comment on that skill.
