Look what I picked up today!

Hi guys,

Well, I'm finally joining you good Sony folk. I've got  another three lenses on back order, the 24-70cz 2.8, 85cz 1.4 and the 70-200 2.8g, then I am ready for world domination!

I am one very happy bunny at the moment. Now will this dam battery charger hurry up!

I know every chance I get I like to help the economy.

I'm just happy that you didn't just show a photo of a 10 dollar 3rd part battery.

Looking forward to some photographs or snap shots....

That would be kind of funny though, wouldn't it? Makes me want to do a side by side shot of all his amazing new gear next to my A57 and collection of $75 lenses and $10 batteries...lol. What I wouldn't give to play with all that stuff for a week...

Haha, thanks for the welcome guys,

Don't worry, I won't be showing hundreds of pictures of my pets, or battery's or very boring static subjects at iso 40-0000-0000.

im going to have a few hours with it in the morning calibratlens the lenses etc and then it's straight in at the deep end with a shoot in my studio with a family who are booked in for 7pm. Luckily, I've not sold all of my micro 43/rds gear yet, so if I'm struggling I have a fall back.

If you guys want to see my usual sort of stuff (warning, nsfw) my site is www.holmax.com

The entire site has been done on my m4/3rds stuff so I'm really keen to see what this ff malarkey is all about!

Based on your excellent portfolio.....

....with dramatic lighting in quite a few of them, you're likely going to love the dynamic range in RAW coming from the 4/3 format (no disrespect there it has its strengths too).

Enjoy the impressive set!

I see you moved from MFT to Sony...

What was the main reason for the switch besides the FF sensor?  I like to know.  And why not A77?  Thanks and congrats on the new system.

Thanks for the warning, but for those of us who don't "text speak" you might want to spell it out the next time.  I figured out what it must mean after it was too late.  Hope you enjoy your new toys.

I'm sorry, but I LOL'd at this. While I am sorry that you got into his galleries without know what it meant, NSFW is pretty standard for anyone on an internet forum these days so I can't imagine why he would spell it out.

Thanks for the compliments on my work guys, I try my best.

The main reason I've decided to come to ff  is for the higher dynamic range, better high iso, and the ability To get the shallow dof that I crave at times. The a99 suited my needs perfectly due to the fold out screen and fast live view. I really love my m4/3rds gear but feel I've just about squeezed everything I can from it A and am ready for the next step up. I didn't really see the point of going for the a77 as I didn't see it as a massive forwards step in performance over my gh2 (not wanting to belittle the a77, it's a great camera).

Im sorry for your embarrassment Angie, I just assumed everyone knew what nsfw meant. I hope you weren't too embarrassed, I like to keep it fairly tame and tasteful.
