I very rarely make comments on these forums however I would gladly hang your image on my wall.  It's very lovely.  Adam.

Don't be offended, I know you were paying a compliment.  But I would like to say that this is one of those images that might be captured with nearly any camera and the power of it would still rule.  Find the right subject, frame it properly and nail the exposure and no one will pixel-peep - they're too busy admiring the image.

Without a doubt the G1 X is a great camera, but this shot is all about the photographer.

That's an exceptional photograph.    Extreme (stark?) and yet hauntingly beautiful

Amazing results!

Excellent take, has the quality of a classical painting. The camera is only a tool in the hand of the photographer.

Composition is excellent. You have a good eye.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I have actually dumped my DSLR's and have gone with an OM-D and my G1X. Use the OM-D for wide and ultra wide. Use the G1X for a little more reach. This is just for the time being. Will probably move on to something else in the near future, as these cameras and the lenses are evolving so fast. but I don't feel limited with this current setup. And my G1X is every bit the camera my OM-D is. And even out performs it with a little more richer and detailed file. And the IS system is quite amazing, the best I've seen. And actually the camera is very important to reach your vision with what you are trying to capture in a scene I have yet to feel limited with my G1X.

Thanks again....Brian
