LX-7 's Happy Setting
Sep 20, 2012

Some critics have complained about the "flat" color effect of the LX-7's JPEG photos. I would be interested to know what effect, if any, the "Happy" setting has on these photos before any PP. The manual describes the setting as "Records pictures with sharp and vivid colors". Does it?
Thanks for your input.

I just got my LX7 today and I feel the colors are a little flat, I plan to try vivid and see what happens

I've been told that the "happy" setting on my LX5 equates to "vivid".

My LX3 takes great JPEG's all the time. It takes adjusting your Contrast, Sharpness and Saturation with the camera, and with most all cameras, really.
