Especially the first two shots are very nice. Was is driving really slow or were you running after it to get the different angles?

\#1 is a VERY NICE shot. Excellent perspective. How did you get up for that one? Camera? Lens? Many years ago (as a little boy),I remember seeing the name "Magirus Deutz" on the bottom of my Matchbox car toys (dump trucks and fire engines).

1930's such a golden age of vehicle development with exquisite bodywork and style and you have captured this beauty wonderfully -This is an era I can identify with - is this before the "Deutz" was added to the "Magirus" ??............Lovely Pictures - a real treat........Suttzzs.

Bruno,

a fine set showing this truck off to it's best. That ladder looks heavy duty. Thanks for these, Mike

Thanks for taking a look, Stuart.. the truck was well restored and beautifully maintained - including all the brass polishing - hence the fine 'golden' details ..

Thanks for looking and interest, JF.. to answer your question about the perspective (first shot), I'm adding a link from last year's parade, at the last two shots you'll see a stone wall at the side of the road, above is a pedestrian way providing excellent vantage point, LOL ..

Very cool shots! Nicely restored vintage Fire Engine. Are the uniforms worn by the firemen also the looks from that era?

Hi Bruno,

Missed these yesterday for some reason. I love the polished brass setting off the red paint. Beautiful old vehicle very well photographed, especially in the first image (perfectly framed) and the second, in which we are treated to a glimpse of the town as well. Thanks for posting!
