A couple for shots from my walk yesterday, not works of art but I love the Nex7.

I am not a fan of the artificial frames being electronically applied to images, but that's a minor quibble. I think you have nice compositions here and these are great images from the 18-200 to show its versatility. Curious -- why did you go with -1.3 EV on the first image?

I used -1.3EV is because the high lights were so strong that I needed to do that to get the balance I was after. As to the frames some people love them while others don't .....bit like life really, one mans meat and all that! Thanks for the nice comments on the pics and your right the 18-200mm it a very versatile lens that gives very reasonable image quality

Well done, nicely composed photos.

First photo looks tricky. There's just enough texture visible in the building structure on right side, but is there a way to boost in order to see some more brick texture?

Nevertheless, superb capture.

How are you doing your frames? What program does that? Another top notch touch.

The frames are done using a script in PS, if you would like a copy contact me with your email and I will send it to you. It is free software that a member on here did a few years ago.

Very, very nice !!. Love that first shot, its the perspective that really appeals and the comp pulls the eye in to exactly where you want it to go. Very clever shot IMO. Also love the colours and subject in the closeup. Extremely well done

All the best and darn nice shots and work.

Danny.

I would say that the 18-200 is more than just reasonable for a superzoom, in the right hands as you have shown. Very nice!
