It seemed unusually bright and clear this morning, so I walked around snapping a few pictures to try to capture the pleasant feeling.
"The party's over". A neighbor's lantern that has seen better days (and nights).
I liked the backlighting here and I was glad the details of the tree bark came out. No special settings with the CX1. It seems to do very well with difficult lighting.
Penstemons with roses in the background. I enhanced this a bit since the flowers were in the shade.
And a light on a house with interesting shadows.
No masterpieces -- just what caught my eye.
Like 2 and 3,
both pics have nice colors to look at, the tree has some weird bark, combined with the velvet like fresh branches,
the third has really vibrant colors, well done, not overlit.
Thanks for sharing
No 4 does it for me. The angle of the shadows almost matching the body of the light.
Thanks for the comments. No. 4 is probably the one I'll save -- turned out better than I expected.
Darrell, wonderful as usual with the 2nd and last being my favorites.
