Problem with CS6 HELP
May 18, 2012

I just purchased CS6 and its faster then CS5. But one big problem. I can't view D800 Nikon NEFs with CS6 Bridge even after I upgraded to 6.7. But my old CS5 with the 6.7 upgrade views the D800 NEFs just fine. So CS6 will not open D800 NEFs and says I need to upgrade. So I go to the upgrade and the script tells me I did upgrade. CS6 and its Bridge open the D800s NEFs converted to DNGs or TIFFs just fine. Any suggestions.?

Adobe is working on a raw 7.1, it will be released any time soon.

raw 6.7 does not support d800 files yet, that's all the script says.

You could use the dng converter for the time being...convert the raw files to dng and import into raw 6.7, should work without any problems.

Adobe have a release candidate for ACR 71, available from

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/cameraraw7-1.html

It states D800, so I hope it helps.

Thanks I've got ACR 7.1 running and it all works. Now if I could just get NIK's Color Effect pro4 to not bomb CS6 all would be well.
