Sun was out today for Jack's walk, so took the FZ50. Stuart
Nicely done. The second image for me. Really nice portrait of a handsome dog!
+ 1 .. (Thanks, Pap) .. Really love those backlit ears turning red, LOL - adorable image, Stuart ..
Thanks for sharing,
Thanks all - not my dog, just a couple sat on a bench in Stanley Park, forgot to ask what breed but believe it is a Pomeranian - it was 10 weeks old. Stuart
Thanks Pap. Just sat with its owners on a bench in the park today catching some rays, which went through the dogs ears :). A 10 week old Pomeranian I believe. Stuart
Agreed, John Stuart
Thanks Yuki. Stuart
Nice pictures. I love squirrels, so that is my second favorite. But like the others, love that shot of the dog.
If it pleases you then to hell what everyone else thinks!
an interesting group of a wide variety of subjects. I like both bird pics. We seldom see mute swans here, so I like the chance to see what others have in their area. The heron is hard for me to get close to, so that's my favorite of the group you;ve posted. Keep on clicking and posting, please, Mike
Thanks Mike. Stanley Park is one of the largest in the UK, with a large boating/fishing lake and protected areas for wildlife. At the most private end of the pond is a small island on which stands a large tree with several heron nests. The youngster was about 20 yards away. Stuart
Thanks manthasfamily. The dog shot was the best one of three attempts. The FZ50 screen is small and the sun was so bright I didn't see the results until back home. Stuart
The pup is the winner in this set, Stuart. Though I like the heron too. Is that a night heron or blue heron?
You surprise me Stuart in using the LCD when you have a viewfinder, my screen stays closed, unless I am taking an overhead or ground shot. One of the habits from film days no doubt.
Very nice shots, Stuart!
I favor #2 and #3.
I briefly had a FZ50....really liked it...but my small hands didn't.
Huge grip.......the GH2 grip is about a 1/2 smaller, and makes a big difference , in my hands.
Well, Stuart, you have had the FZ50 for two, maybe three weeks? I think you have "clicked" on how to use it. These are very nice. Have you decided if it will be going to Las Vegas with you? I think you would do just fine with it. I agree with John about using the LCD only for the awkward shots, but, hey, if it's working for you, why not? Very steady hands. Are you using it to take the shot or just for viewing?
