Hmm. The zoom feature zooms bigger than my posted photo. I guess that means it's expecting higher resolution? Here is the photo at actual resolution:

Love it - both the subject and the photograph. There's a lot to like in the image, and for that there's a lot to like with the PL1, no?

Just loving my new Olympus (Christening photos)
In reply to SLOtographer, May 7, 2012

No - not my OM-D; that got lost in the post, so have to wait for a couple of weeks for the next batch; but my 45mm f1.8 I got a couple of months ago for events like the Christening I went to on Saturday.

I just wandered around taking photos by natural light (on my G1). Here's a couple:-

All kidding aside... Elephant seals (as well as other kinds of seals) winter in the central coast near San Simeon.

Bird At Night

This would have been a slightly better shot with a Canon f/2.8 "L" lens and a newer body that could do ISO 3200 without noise. The G2 gets a bit noisy starting at ISO 400 and the Vivitar 200mm 3.5 gets soft wide open. But for a $20 lens on a $400 body it beats the hell out spending five large.

They are lazy but you don't want to argue with them. Nice shots. I haven't see any of these guys in the wild since I moved away from California. Sea World is not the same experience.

Almost TOO cute!
Good capture of the buzzard, especially with that backdrop.

A little fuzzy, but I've always found these translucent bugs to be very tricky that way. Can't say I've ever done better myself. Appealing colors in this shot.

After much thought, I gave up my Nikon D5000 and bought an E-P3. And it's just awesome! It fits nicely in my purse and I can't go anywhere without it.

Here's one of my favorite shots so far (which isn't saying much since I'm fairly new to this whole photography thing compared to most on this forum):
