These flowers are growing in a parking lot and probably not attended whatsoever? One thing they are is huge and really holding up well in the salty to almost brakish conditions here because they are totally exposed to salt daily from the ocean. Maybe not amazing to you but it is to me. Don't blame me for the A600 as it was a gift to me. ;)) PP in CS5. Enjoy, Gary N W SFO--Coppertone.

Hi Gary,

that is a great shot very artistic PP well done I like it but I do have to say it took a few seconds till it sunk in but then I got the feel for it.
Have posted a late autumn series in the X100 forum if you are interested.

Please know I appreciate just hearing from you in the first place to know that you are doing OK. I understand many folks may not enjoy flower shots. We are not all the same luckily. ;)) Would be a boring life if we all were the same in our artistic tastes, likes and dislikes. Just keep having fun.

Best Wishes Joel, Gary N W SFO

Glad you enjoyed the image after some observation. But please know that I understand NOT everyone would enjoy this type of image. Such is the facts of life. ;))

I just thought the tone and sunset when I took this image made a perfect time to attempt to present it in Sepia tone or rather what I call copper toned type sepia. I start out with Sepia and then work into the copper color using curves in CS5.

I am glad you got the time to view my image and thanks once again for looking.

All the best to You and Your's mate,

Gary N W SFO
