CS6 and graphics
May 1, 2012

Trying out trial of CS6 and my graphics is Intel HD 3000.
But when i try to use the oil paint filter i get this alert.
I never had any trouble using CS5.
Also graphics is listed as compatable.

There is an update for the graphics but i'm unable to install it because the intel
download page is offline for maintenance.

My fault,i was trying to download the update from the intel site, when i should have downloaded it from the samsung website.

So i successfully installed the update and it's fixed all the graphics bugs i was getting on cs6.

Which is good news not just for you and CS6 but for everyone: now that Adobe is making some timid steps into GPU-accelerated processing, hardware vendors are forced to clean their act and release drivers that actually conform to the specs they should have adhered to from the beginning.

Small software vendors were often blamed for driver malfunctions but now that Adobe's software reveals those bugs it's suddenly clear that the hardware drivers are actually at fault, and hardware vendors (that's Intel, NVIDIA and ATI/AMD) can no longer ignore it like they sometimes did for the past few years...
