It is all I have, and seems to work just fine.

It's a joke, isn't it?

Don't let them beat you down, Alien. The 350XT can still take some great images, OF COURSE.

I use a 40D, and kept the 350 as a backup. Before the 350, I had a 300D. Many of the 350 images are indistinguishable from the 40D images.

Excuse me while I dust off my trusty 6MP 300D (in silver none the less)

Haha I don't know, given the recent releases I'd get the MK III for a backup. However given that the D800E is 4% sharper and better ISO you should get that instead

Mine still rocks! Also have a 40D and a 7D but I like the small size of the 350D for casual pictures (such as the kitchen and the dog...). I also bring it on most risky trips with my ATV...

The 350D however is lacking the megapixels and the action pictures capabilities. For the rest, it still beats many point and shoot cams.

Maybe it's overexposed/oversaturated, I edited it on a non--calibrated screen.

Lucky you, mine died a painful death the other day, the shutter died :(. I missed my little 350D but my new T3I isn't bad, still trying to get used to the 18M images and the swivel LCD plus all the bells and whistles.
Nice photo by the way.
Cheers

Looks fine to me.

Honestly, if the 350D had a 3" screen and the current menu system I probably wouldn't even be considering upgrading at all.

Same here alien,...
In reply to alien3333, Jun 20, 2012

...I've looked at a lot of cameras since buying the 350D when it first came out, but nothing has prompted me to upgrade yet. I guess I really don't need anything more.

I'm enjoying the posted 350D shots.

Here's one of mine with the 70-200 (f/4 (non IS). I was out shooting some burning in the woods a couple of months ago.

Nostalgia...
In reply to alien3333, Jun 21, 2012

I am still using mine because of nostalgia... But my Olympus OM-1 is taking dust... I still turn it on once in a while so that the meter battery stays sharp... Not even sure if the film inside is still good!!! I think I will send it to the lab just for the fun to see what's in there!

A new one, this time through the kitchen window, as i can't get out because of a broken knee.

No HDR nor tone mapping applied.
