Nice photos but please explain how they would be different if processed using CS5? Are you using CS6 specific functionality? Just asking.

On 2 images I used the new blur filter with CS6

I used Tilt Shift (vertically) to selectively blur specific areas while the main subject kept sharp
The Street artist could have been done in CS5 ie no Blur effect
I did use the Niksoftware COlorEFEX pro 4 on all images

Trick is to get the Color looking good before B&W conversion
Nik software helps along the way

Far easier than layers and normal filters and brushes the new filters let you achieve what you want with ease and you can change or reverse the effect.
