I am interested in these lights from Strobeam http://www.strobeam.eu/2-head-kit-with-2-battery-pack-innovative-eid-g-5-igbt-500w-s-3g-ready-ac-dc-location-lighting-head-built-in-digital-decoder/

Was thinking of getting them to replace my old and heavy (3.2kg) Bowens lights. The Strobeam lights are 1.6kg

I am after something lighter and the addition of battery operation and wireless control and using Bowens modifiers seems very tempting!

Has anyone used Strobeam and what is your experience with them like?

Mike

I use the Cononmark DL4.0 - it's basically the same thing, but the older version without the wireless control.

I've recommended them to anyone I like;)

The battery lasts forever, and they're very powerful for their size. It's now my go-to strobe for most churches and receptions.

Its my understanding that the Strobeams use better quality capacitors than the Cononmark too

Hi,
Also see, & note price;

I asked Greenlife-Style to link me to an instruction manual in English - they were unable to do so!

With all of these you will be a Beta tester - but you might be a happy one!
Cheers, Donald
