Found this on Twitter, hope this wasn't posted before

My #FujiFilm #XPro1 review hits the blog on Tuesday. I've put it through hell and it survived.

I liked this comment from his blog:

"I’ve seen people bitching and moaning and complaining about the Fuji X-Pro1 on photography forums. They have no idea what they are talking about."

Fro what I've read in his reviews, he is honest and very direcct and gives a d* about most technical aspects as most forum members. He just seems to be concerned about how to get a good picture made. And that is, what photography should be. Taking pictures.

Agree with your comment

I care about IQ and if the user experience helps me enjoy taking pictures
because then i will have it with me
Camera can have weaknesses - just do these things converge

I don't hear anyone questioning the camera IQ

After what I have seen so fare, I do not think I have to question the IQ at all. Problem will be to get the money together to buy it, that is my biggest concern.

Though I am excited about his review, that image of him next to that giant Fuji poster (!), does make me wonder (and I don't mean this on a personal level just as a general 'independence' argument) how unbiased a commercial photographer can be, when reviewing a product by a company - knowing that, one's review (be it good or bad) will reach the ears of this company, and influence them!

I know I would be influenced! I'd not want to p* s of camera companies with very bad reviews! Would you? I suppose, as readers of reviews - we just need to bare such things in mind.

It could also be useful : critics of some problems coming from him could maybe quicker be resolved by an early release of a firmware

(PS. sorry for my poor english)

The review must be up,, because the blog just told me:

I got the same issue with the blog. I am curious to read his review though a bit skeptical after seeing the picture of him with the X-Pro1 advertising behind him from Dubai. I know Zach shoot multiple systems carries both Nikon and Canon and uses the X100 for personal work.

Now I got Zach's blog. Here are a few quotes:

"I’m currently in India on assignment for Fuji to shoot promotional photos with their new X-Pro1 camera system. Hey, why not? It’s a good gig if you can get it right?"

"The X-Pro1 is a Fuji X camera so I’ve said my fair share of curse words using it but then the effing @#& !@ camera locks on and O. M. G. In the chaos that is this city I can’t even begin to explain how using this camera makes my life 500% easier because they can just about fit in a pocket and rival my 5d Mk II in image quality."

Very interesting read! Exactly what I thought he'd say about it and not as fan boyish as I thought. Very honest review IMHO

From what I've read so far, this seems to be an honest review, where he mentiones also the not so good things of the X-pro 1, and does not praise it, as if there is no better camera around.
Hope your lucky soon to be able to read yourself.
