Hi Louis,

The last in the set is my fav. The man with the sign really tells a story. It's a real moment and captures feeling for me.

as always your conversions are stunning my friend , and you did it again with some very contrasted scene and harsh light and shadow !!! The DR of your D-Lux5 seems to be better than the new D800 one !!!!!
My fav are N. 1 and 4 !!

Have an Happy easter dear Louis

Thank you very much for your kind feedback, Kevin! The last shot is also my favorite of the set and I was actually wondering if I shouldn't post it by itself!

Kind Regards,

Excellent set Louis;
Love Your B&W rendering

No 1 buddy needed a beer perhaps ...:-) he is doing his share to reduce his waistline with coffee instead..

The smile in n 2 is well captured
The last one is timely.. did the guy choose to sit under that sign on the wall?
great set

That goes for me too Louis. The rich blacks look great on my screen.

Emile, he's probably a personal trainer on his break.

Best wishes
Mike

Dear Emile, if he was successful in reducing his waistline; I wouldn't bother shooting him!.... That beard doesn't go with a small tummy!

The smile in n 2 is well captured

She was extremely kind a very pretty. The kind of people you enjoy shooting!

This is my fav of this set. I was consedering to post it by itself; but then, I thought it makes more sense to be part of this set, giving more "Colors" to this environment!

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging feedback, my friend!

Thanks very much, Mike. I think B/W goes better with small sensor that don't give you nice creamy and detailed images. And after all, I also enjoy B/W better, too!

It's so good to have you back in the forum, dear Mike! I hope you are taking good care of your belly, my friend!
