The very purpose of existence is to reconcile the glowing opinion we hold of ourselves with appalling things that other people think about us -------Quentin Crisp
Absolutely stunning Bill. The first 3 are mind-blowing. Converting to B&W was a very smart ideal. You should be very proud.
Oh man, I suck at street photography. Too shy, I guess.
But these amazing pictures are a powerful motivator.
Thanks everyone.. I'm really happy I went out to the world today.. Sometimes the only thing that stands between us and great work is us..
The world is not as bad as we are made to believe.. People are nicer than we give them credit to be.
Grab you camera and go out to the streets.. You owe it to yourself to try.
Its good times to be a photographer!
compliment Bill, very nice portraits thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the course 101- "Microscopy in Dermatology"
Great portraits Bill..
How do you do it without being scared they will try to take your camera?
How do you live life in fear Lordsegan, go out there mingle with people they won't bite you, they are human like everybody else including you.
fantastic shots. So much detail is a bit scary. Not all women are going to love this. Looks like D800 + 85mm 1.4 is a stunning combo
+1 great shots for sure
I love street photography but have never come up with a way to get that close to folks, what do you ask them and how often do folks say no? Your subjects seem to like you and seem to have no problem being photographed.
Does anyone use the 85mm f1.8, is it a decent lens also?
