The best of us!
Mar 27, 2012

I was shooting some flowers the other day and my 9 year old grandson Owen happened by in the front porch. He is always willing to model so I threw off a couple of shots.

I thought later that it would be nice to see some shots of the children and grandkids of the folks who belong to our forum. Who doesn't like to show off their children et al.

So here is my grandson giving me one of his shy, crooked smiles that makes me want to hug him to pieces.

And one of my son Paul at a world class shooting competition in Zurich awhile back. He outclasses his Dad who was a National grade shooter a longtime ago. He was the top of the second place team at the Swiss Club's contest of clubs from all over the world. And he did that with a rifle he had never seen or shot before off the rack.

Join in on the fun.

Cheers
Leo

This is why I keep a camera around...

My daughter...

My son and "his" dog... Really it's my dog. I just can't get the dog or my son to admit to it...

I'm afraid I'm at the point where my kids no longer shout "Dad!!" when I come home. So I'm glad the dog is happy to see me when I walk in (probably wants his dinner). Very nice snaps of your boys.

Well, okay, Leo. Since you twisted my arm...

This is my son Joshua, who just turned 5 years old a couple of weeks ago.

Joshua has only recently become willing to pose. Most of my photos of him are candid, which I actually like. But once in a while it's nice to get one that's posed.

Thanks kiddo! You have beautiful children too!

It just dawned on me that you have lived in Thornhill for awhile and that you might have known the Gairdner family. Norma Gairdner has been a good friend of mine for many years. They used to live on a beautiful piece of land in Thornhill with a wonderful stand of huge walnut trees that were so awesome, they still impress me just thinking about them these nearly 40 years later. Just wondering.

All the best
Leo
