Kinda heavy and you'll need a head, but a used Bogen 3021/Manfrotto 055 is a very nice pod at that price range unless you want to put an exotic lens on a gimbal.

Very Good I would have to second the manfrotto but if you save just a bit more you can find a used Gitzo in new shape for $200 or an induro or benro for about the same price.

Take a look at the Manfrotto 7322CY-BB M-Y. Its a light Carbon Fiber Tripod With Ballhead.

You can find it around $150-$180

Save your money and go down to B&H. Check out the tripods and find one you like and would use. Take note of the price and save some more dough until you can afford the one you WANT. This is good advice, if I do say so myself.....

Benro's are very good tripods at a reasonable price. I just got a A2691TB1, which includes an excellent ball head.
