A77 Shoots a different type of bird (large image warning)

Shot with the Minolta 50mm 1.7, 16-50 2.8 kit lens and (I believe) Minolta 50mm 2.8 macro using barn doored floodlight and various incandescent spotlights, including opaque sheets. Tested with flash, but didn't get the results I was looking for. And yes - lens flare was intentional

Last shot was the most appealing....the model has high cheek bones etc...very photographic
