Great review and photos.

Thanks!

I don't like it's signature ...

Yes, for many it's a "love it" or "leave it" proposition.

...but I do think it fits your style very well.

Thanks. I have a lot of fun with the lens.

Thanks also for reading my post. My best to you and your family for 2012!

Peter.

Re: Dear Jim,
In reply to jpfisher, Dec 22, 2011

Once again, very kind of you Jim.

I have a Wordpress ".com" site and not a ".org" (3rd party hosted) site, so my understanding is that I can't import plugins.

In any case, I'm exploring it (with a little help from another kind forum member).

Either way, thank you so much for your great suggestion. I'll PM you if I make any progress, or if indeed I can use your help!

Peter.

Let me know if you need help setting it up--but you basically just add it from the plugin from the admin panel plugin search and activate it. You just have to make sure that photos are linked to JPG files rather than an HTML page.

Drop me a private message if you need any assistance.

Peter, great review. The only thing it is missing is how the lens acts at 1.4-2.8, which is also quite a spectacle.

Dear Irakly,
In reply to Irakly Shanidze, Dec 22, 2011

Very kind of you dear Irakly.

I agree with your observation about the other apertures. Yanidel did a great job discussing performance between f/1.4-f/2.8.
