Motorsport (Rally) Photos with 7D/50D/350D
Sep 15, 2011

Since I didn't get off to a good start here (with the "critics" I posted here about the 7D), I'd like to improve my reputation!

Here are few photos taken with 7D, 50D and 350D when the cams performed well (so they can!)...

50+ images is wayyyyyyyy too many
In reply to Ondrej Zeman, Sep 15, 2011

You have some good shots of the 'ultimate' motorsport, but it is annoying (to me) to see over 50 photos.
Ten would be lots!

50 was fine with me, I enjoyed them all.

Really nice pictures! I love the colors. Do you shoot in raw? If yes, where do you process the pictures?

Thanks - I shoot in RAW, develop in Lightroom and do some final touches in Photoshop.

Excellent series.

I particularly enjoyed the perspective and framing you used for many of these shots – different (better) than a lot of the “standard” rally shots.

Thanks for posting these.

Really enjoyed these, creative shots well executed from start to finish. I always like to see some cracking shots from an oldie like the 350D. Just goes to prove....

You ought to stop worry about these "critics", they are just standard DPR bitter geeks who do not take photos and enjoy "troll calling" and "user-error labelling". you are a better photographer than every last one of them and have more great photos than all them combined.

Great work.

Yeah, of course they are all post processed... no point in showing unprocessed photos.

A big part of photography..
In reply to Ondrej Zeman, Sep 16, 2011

A big part of photogrphy is going through your stuff and working towards keeping the very best. It doesn't matter how good your stuff is, nobody wants to look at 51 pictures.

A few of your best would have made much more of an impact than having us all look at 51 pictures.

Here's a suggestion. Post a few with a link to the rest, for those who may want to see more.

Ansel Adams said that any year he got a dozen good shots was a good year. I agree. This guy posts 51 pics. Nobody is that good.
