Nice. I'm curious, what is the process for extracting these from a Flash movie?

soundtrack from youtube videos
In reply to DaSigmaGuy, Feb 10, 2011

Yes, it's a little indirect though:

I remember a pc program called autoit. I think it's freeware. Autoit "runs" a program you tell it to run and is commonly used to demonstrate software.

Autoit runs based on scripts that you write. People also post these scripts, and I think there was one for extracting the soundtrack of youtube videos.

So you could search "autoit" on the web and see what scripts are available.

There are probably more direct methods.

Google " freehiqrec" for free program that extracts audio from anything that is coming

over your pc speakers. Stop and start as you please, so start it before the video and stop whenever. I have a more perfect one that extracts audio tract from youtube videos AFTER you have downloaded the video. Do you want me to look for it ( t=through my 4 tbs of harddrives...yikes ) ?
Thanks,
Sid

Thanks guys, but I managed to find a nifty free program called Freestudio, that does lots more than just rip the MP3's from youtube files.

Unwavering quest for the photographic truth..
In reply to Marfalkov, Feb 10, 2011

I liked that...

It's just me that never get satisfied after going through many megapixels of various cameras until my dp2. It's still not the end of the quest but just got started.

It's not just you. After using several other cameras and never being completely happy with the image quality, along came Sigma & Foveon. I saw the images people were getting and knew that I had to go with Sigma. I was not able to get my own Sigma until the original DP1 which I pre-ordered. In the years since, my wife who is not a photo expert but likes taking pictures had also been unhappy with her shots image quality. She saw what I was getting with the DP1 and then it became clear to her that Sigma was what she wanted too.

For us, there is no turning back. I have been using a SD14 and SD15 for a while now and am really looking forward to the SD1.

the models faces can't be true. they have to be edited with the D&B method. 1. light does not fill the face that way. highlights would be on the high points of the cheek and not as close as it is on the nose 2. skin is way to prefect.
its just my opinion.

RE these somewhat downsized images, to get a fuller picture of how much detail this sensor can record, check a link Chunsum provided in BobNL's thread on the pictures:

http://twitpic.com/3y1uju

It show a DP2 image of an iMac 27" LED monitor (108+ppi; 2560 pixels wide)

(you gave view this DP2 file at 100 by moving your cursor to the upper right portion of the image)
