I have an older Konica FS-1 camera that I no longer use, and want to find a new digital SLR camera base that will accept my existing FS-1 lenses - Sigma 35-70 and Promaster 75-300.

Does Sony offer such cameras? Anyone else?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Don

The Konica AR lens mount, which was used in the Konica FS-1, is incompatible with the mount used by any dSLR. You may find adapters that will physically mount those lenses to a dSLR, but there will be no logical connection, so there will be no autoexposure or autofocus.

Also, I hate to break the news to you, but the lenses you have aren't very good anyway. Just because you can hang your old lenses on it, might not be the best reason to buy a particular dSLR.

I dont think that those two lenses or their lack of compatability or their value, which is very little, should stop you from getting into digital photography..Just my opinion.
