Does your camera documentation not state the working and storing temperature/humidity ranges?

no it doesn't

it just says do not subject the camera to high temperature and high humidity.
working range of the camera use is 0-40 degree

Don't store it...

Use it!

Mine rides shotgun most of the time. On really hot or really cold days I'll bring it into the office with me. (Gotta be careful letting it get too cool in the summer as the humidity will condense on a cold lens in a flash.)

You never know when that perfect opportunity might come along.

Probably similar to most consumer goods. 65-75F, 20-80% humidity. Aka, the "dark cupboard in the basement" storage system.
