Mid-class compact camera with full manual controls?
Jan 1, 2007

Hi!
I am getting tired (And sick) of my old olympus 2Mp camera,
and on the lookout for a new digital camera. What I'd like
would be a compact camera that's easy to carry around,
but also has full manual controls over shutter speed, Aperture,
and focus. Preferred MP would at least be around 5 or more.
And, most importantly, should not cost much more then 200Euros.
(I'm a student, sadly.) I myself found a few that match what I want,

for example, the Fuji Finepix E900, but I've read the color shifting is quite high, and details tend to get fuzzy.

The camera will be mainly used for landscape photographing, experimental photographing, and miniature-model photography. (So a good macro is a must as well.)

The Canon PowerShot A620/610 looks like what I would be looking for, but the price is a little on the high side. The BenQ C1000 looks quite good on paper as well, but I have problems trusting a for me unknown company.
Anyone have any models I might have overlooked?
