All those photos except the 2nd one were taken with a Sigma 10-20 HSM lens (the old version). The 2nd one was taken with a Nikon 70-300vr lens.

More recently I've bought a Nikon 16-85vr which is a wonderful lens. I love the wide angle end of the range.

I was really delighted to see over the weekend that I won the recent DPR Challenge on renewable energy with a photo taken with that lens and the D40:

I also bought a Nikon 105mm f2.8vr afs lens a few weeks ago in order to have a go at close-up photography. Here's a recent photo with that one:
