Peter -
UK Germany has a distributor in Canada, which is (I think) where Americans have to order the housing from. Europeans may be able to order directly from UK Germany. I'm not sure what the retail price is, but I believe that it is between $2500-$3000, not including the dome port and other accessories.
If you order one now, you will have to wait at least two months. I'm not sure why they take so long to produce, but the machined aluminum is a piece of art. :) Ikelite will make a D60 housing for you as well, for significantly less (around $1200 or so).
Here's UK Germany's housing link: http://www.uk-germany.com/english/uwg_digital_canon_eosd30.html
And, just for fun, here's a pic of my housing and lights: :)
