Like most newbies, I was disapointed with the soft image I got from my D30 and non-L lenses. (I will be purchasing the 28-70 2.8L and the 70-200 2.8L over the next few weeks). Meanwhile, I've discovered (thanks to this forum) the Un-sharp mask filter in Photoshop 6.01. I've played with the settings but without experience, its a bit like pot-luck. Are there typical settings that can be used in most circumstances to increase the sharpness (without going overboard), or do I really need to play with the settings until the image looks good for each individual image. thanks in advance, Keith
