Re: SB800 support question
In reply to --harvey, Aug 18, 2004

I have only one SB800 but sometimes when going wireless I wish I
had a small tripod for it. Cheap one without a head would probably
do, the load is minimal and perfect stability is not an issue.
Could you please share your experience - do you carry with you an
extra support when going to use multiple flashguns ? Thanks.

Hi, I have a soft padded stand case with a shoulder strap. This holds a Manfrotto 055B tripod with #222 pistol grip head, two studio light stands that go as high as 8 feet, two reversable brollies (white & gold), and in the 3 front pockets on it I have 2 SB800's (sometimes 3), a flashmeter and IR trigger (just in case I want to use my D100). This is a very portable studio set-up. I have a Lowepro Mini Trekker and a Micro Trekker for cameras and lenses, and depending on the job I either take one or the other. Oh and one last thing - a Lastolite background. All extremely portable.
