Canon i960 red color cast

I just got a canon i960 a few weeks ago and I'm finding I have a red or magenta color cast in all of my prints.

I've calibrated my monitor using OSX calibration utility, and I'm printing with the canon profiles onto canon pro photo paper using the canon inks. I'm pretty sure the problem is in software somewhere in the chain, I should say I'm printing out of photoshop CS.

I'm a little frustrated with this, there seems to be so many variables that could be affecting my print quality i don't even know where to start looking. Generally I'm really pleased with the quality of the canon's prints as long as I can get this red cast corrected.
