The Swiss Alps - many BIG D2h pics
Aug 6, 2004

Yep it's me again, here to show you my vacation pics of the Swiss Alps.
Initially a non-tech thread so if you are not into this please refrain from reading any further.
From here on it is dial-up unfriendly I'm afraid...
A little story to go with the photos:
2 weeks ago I was in the Swiss Alps with my mom, not for very long, but we did get the chance to visit the Mont Fort, which offers a great mountain vista of the Alps. It is easy to reach, you can air-ride by cabin almost all the way to the top, where you can walk the last part and enjoy a very serene world, all alone as I did.
These are some photos I took from up there, some are really nice, other just for impression. All photos taken with the D2h, a 70-200 VR, the wide shots taken with a 17-55 DX or a 12-24 DX. Some are pano-stitches, I'll note that if it is the case. Here come the photos:
with the 17-55DX:

Well, as usual I'm open to comments & questions and such, I will do my best to answer every question. I appreciate your time in viewing these and hope you enjoyed them as much as I have.
It's very late now here, so I'm off to bed.
Cheers,
Sander Meurs
