D1x New release date

I just got of the phone with NPS ( Nikon Professional Services ) and was given a revised release date for the D1x, Nikon is expected to start shipping the D1x in June or July, no reason for the delay was given.
Any one have the reason for the delay, I would like to now,
With this delay and the drop in price of the Kodak DCS 660 I am rethinking my options.
