How it works... (explenation)
In reply to Steven S, May 21, 2004

I set the camera on Av or M for the desired aperture, the internal flash was set to commander mode at M adjusted to FULL.

I set the flash on a tripod 45 degrees from the model and shoot accordingly as I open and close the apoerture to control the flash exposure and correct the EV comp. or the shutter speed to control the ambient exposure. thus creating the atmosphere I desire.

I shot the photos at NEF format and processed in photoshop cs with the RAW plugin.
then corrected Level, Color balance, saturation and so on.

Glad to be of assistance to this GREAT forum that I have learned so much from.

So thank you all very much,

Roie Galitz

These are very creative, and very nicely done. The ambient light is
just great. Now, you must tell us more about how this works!
