From the Nikon forum where Jim is refering to it being too slow: "Now it sits in a drawer, and to tell the truth I'm a little ticked off about it. 96 seconds to open and everything sluggish went back to 5.5 after 2 days of use." (kinda like my first new Harley LOL)
