Film is dying, part 412
Jan 13, 2004

I have had many talks with people here and outside this forum that film is a dying breed.. Well I was watching CNN and heard about Kodak cutting all 35mm reusable film cameras... I am thrilled.. I have to admit I am starting to resent some film shooters. I shoot weddings, and years ago I used to talk down anyone shooting digital.. This was 2 years ago, I was not happy with the D1, D30 and the S1... MF film killed those cameras.. But when thge D60 came out and the S2, I was jumping up and down when I saw the images. Now I have film shooting telling clients that digital does not look as good and blah blah.. Well, the best photographers in my opinion have gone digital.. My pictures are 5x better since I went to digital.. When shooting film I was allways so worried about exposure and DOF.. I was shooting most things at F11 so I needed lots of light and so on.. Now I shoot F4! LOL and love it.

Does anyone here think their work quaility has decreased since going digitalk?
