1280 Problem

When I proof my picture using the epson paper profiles, I get a light gray cast almost as if the contrast and brightness changed. the actual print shows this same loss. I have calibrated my monitor using Adobe Gama. I've got the 1280 set for no color correction. Any advice would be appreciated.
