After reading all these messages I faxed the President of Minolta USA with my concerns about my 7i. It took 2 faxs, but I did get a call in a week or more from a Customer Service Rep. She asked me to send in my camera for a free inspection and she would call me when she got the 7i. I sent it overnight to her and she never called. Also, I have called her 2 times a day on a toll cost line and she has never return the calls. I confirmed with UPS that they received the unit early the next AM.

That is not good service!!!!

I faxed the President again this AM to ask him to see what is going on with Minolta. I hope I get some reply before the New Year!

In the meantime I picked up a new Sony P72 from OfficeMax on sale and the pictures are sharp, good color and very usable. I wonder why I had to spend $1000 for Minolta poor results when for $269 I got a good usable camera with predictable (good) results.
