Canon Cash-In Rebate Woes
I'm wondering if anyone else is having problems with these rebates?
I sent in all the required stuff including cutting out the UPC code from the box but they say I sent in the wrong UPC code. They say it indicates a different lens! How is this possible. After emailing, I was told to resubmit the copy of the receipt and warranty card. Does this make any sense? They already have that unless they lost it. I waited about 10 days after mailing the resubmission and then called. They had not received it and again asked that I resubmit the same documents again but this time via fax. So, yesterday I did just that but also included a copy of the lens box showing that the UPC was cut out and that all the documentation matches as far as model and serial number. I asked for a confirmation of receipt but have not received one as yet. Very frustrating and just needed to vent a bit.
