Jim, I never assumed Frances was female, don't know why exactly, but I imagine it was due to the nature of prior postings that I instinctively knew Frances was male (subconscious thing, you know, males can smell their territory, even across vast ocean distances).

Frances, I wasn't gettin on ya, I knew you were kidding. Love you too, hehe.... :^)

So, nobody is going to fess up then. Fine, leave me to my own wild imagination . . . its funner where I'm at . . . :^)

Sal,
I think your assuming that Francis is a female. That is also a male
name in case you didn't know. One of my best childhood friends was
named Francis.

I believe I am noticing a sexist trend in this NG. To wit, when a
female (or someone with a feminine pen) posts a message,
interesting or not, she ends up with a flood of replies, most of
which are overly elaborate. On the other hand, when a male posts,
unless the question is of great interest, it goes largely
unnoticed. Is this a "Damsel in Distress" syndrome, or are my
observations without merit?
