Canon A70 review and LCD screen scratches

I'm trying to decide between buying the Sony P-8 and the Canon A70.

I see in the owner's opinions that many of the owners complained about the LCD screen scratching quite easily. What is the experience of A70 owners in this forum? I know that this would really put me off buying the A70, and going for the P-8, even though the A70 has more manual features and the memory is cheaper.

Does anyone know when we can expect a Sony P-8 review from dpreview?
