As many suspect, something went wrong with this lenstip's test.

I tried the old 2000 lines ISO test chart with my 100-400 lens.While lensTip was using the newer 4000 line test chart, the font size and the line size at 1600lines/ph is easily comparable.

Lenstip resolution test vs. my own test. Slightly different chart but comparable sharpening and crop size.

First result:

I did not use any special sharpening but my photo is sharper at 200mm.This can be explained by the EM1 16Mpix resolution and the removed AA-filter.

Second result:

I can not see that my lens degrades significantly at 400mm. While lenstip's lens is looking really soft here.

The first difference at 200mm can be explained by the different camera, but the second difference seems to confirm that something with lenstips test setup or with the lens sample is very very wrong.
