I'm currently looking for a compatibility list for older lenses on SLT cameras.

My impression is the problem was firmware in fairly recent Sigma lenses that came out before the SLTs--mostly lenses that are still sold.

But all I really know is that the screw drive 1980's-ish Sigma Super Wide II 24 f/2.8 works great in my SLT-A58.

Unfortunately the Dyxum database tables are misleading regarding this, but the user reviews might help.
